Wishing you all a Happy Father's Day especially my son and son-in-law. These are two of the most amazing Dads in the whole world!!!! Thanks for being such fabulous fathers to my little granddaughters guys! And also to my Dad - thanks for everything you do for me Dad - I love you!

Here are some kits created especially for Father's Day. The first by DigiScraps by Denise called My Dad Rawks. Denise has made this kit into a wonderful bundle which includes alphabets and some photomasks which are just gorgeous! You can find My Dad Rawks at Digiridoo or her store at DigiScraps Drive-In.

I also created this little card using some of the papers from My Dad Rawks and Katie Pertiet's template.

Aren't they three of the prettiest little girls you have ever seen!!!

Lou from LouCee's Creations also has a wonderful Father's Day kit out called Dad Rules. Love the metal elements in this kit!
Very manly. You can find it at DigiScraps Obsession.

My youngest granddaughter, her Mom and I had a little photo shoot yesterday so that she could give her Dad (my son) some new photos of her as she is growing so fast and changing so very quickly. We had such a great time and pictures turned out really well. Here is what we put together. Absolutely love the tutu!

I entered another challenge over at Mind Wide Open this month and took runner up with this layout. This is such a great challenge and so much fun to see what other people do with the prompt and photo that we are given. Thanks for another great challenge Gail - I will be back next month!!!

Hope everyone has a good week!

A Very Important Date!

We celebrated my granddaughter's 6th birthday and her little friend's 1st birthday yesterday with a Mad Hatter Wonderland Tea Party. It was a day to remember! Happy Birthday Girls!

GSO and New Products

My friend and designer, Denise, from DigiDesigns by Denise has a new kit out called At The Seashore over at Digiridoo and also at DigiScraps Drive-in. I am absolutely in love with this kit and have decided it is my favorite of Denise's work so far. The colors in this kit are so pretty and very beachy! And the elements - WOW.

Here are my layouts using this gorgeous kit! I received a GSO at DST for the layout of my eldest granddaughter.

Sarah Barber Design also has a new kit called That's Swell. What a fun kit this was to play with. I love the colors and the elements are so vintage! You can find it at Digiridoo. Also visit Sarah's blog
for a chance to win this fabulous kit. Just leave a Sarah a comment and keep your fingers crossed!

I was visiting a forum the other day where someone asked the question as to what are the advantages of being on a creative team. I found this interesting and really thought about it for a moment - aside from the obvious of getting to play with all the wonderful kits from your designers, there are so many advantages that perhaps many don't think about. When I first started digital scrapbooking about 3 or so years ago and I applied for my first creative team, I was sure I would never be chosen. But I was so lucky and Mel from Mel Hains Design chose me. Mel has kept me on her team since then. Next it was being on the creative team for Snap & Scrap which of course lead me to be on the creative team for Charlie at Charlie's Digiscraps. It was here that I formed so many friendships including those of Lou from LouCee's Creations and Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise.
Then Erika from Inkin' Creations with her beautiful designs and Renata from Serene by RW. I then applied for Sarah Barber Design's Creative Team - thinking there would be no way I would ever be asked to join this team as her style was so different from anything I had ever tried but how happy was I when I was asked to join this amazing group and fabulous designer. I feel like my scraping has come full circle as I am now on Digiridoo's Creative Team with so many of those amazing women from Snap & Scrap. Truly the relationships that are formed from being on a creative team are to be cherished. All the designers that I create for and creative team members are so supportive of everything I try, even if it is a bit out of the box. They always have an encouraging word not only in the scrapbooking realm but personally. Just a THANK YOU to all of you. Here's to more designing and more creating! I cherish my friendship with each and every one of you!

Digiridoo Scraps is Back!

Digiridoo Scraps is back on-line and to celebrate their 1st Birthday everything in the store is 50% off.

This little ATC was made with Sarah Barber Design's ATC Mixed Bag v.5 which is FREE for the birthday celebration.

Sarah also has two absolutely stunning new kits on sale. The first one is called A Natural Kind of Thing. Beautiful elements in this kit and the colors are so gorgeous. Wonderful kit for any kind of layout but looks especially fabulous with those vintage pictures.

1970 Something is Sarah's second new kit at Digiridoo. This kit was right up my alley as this period of time was my high school and college days. Ahhh...such wonderful memories. I have lots of photos from those days but unfortunately all need to be scanned and taken out of old scrapbooks, hopefully in one piece. This kit inspired me to get busy on those photos.

Don't forget to check out all of Sarah's fabulous kits, 50% off for a limited time.

Lucky for me (and you!) two of my creative team designers design for Digiridoo Scraps and Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise also has her entire store on sale for 50% off from June 1 until June 7th.

Lots of fun challenges and wonderful participation prizes over at Digiridoo - so join in the fun and welcome Digiridoo back on-line!

My friend, Charlie, has a new contribution to the June CU collab grab bag at DigiScrap Vault. Gorgeous Ribbon Longs - absolutely fabulous textures in these pretty ribbons.

Just wanted to share a really personal piece about a young man who was taken too soon. The beauty of scrapbooking and the ability to really put your emotions on a page is something I really miss when my time is taken up with work and just all the time required in getting through every day. It is so soul cleansing and uplifting. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend - hug all your loved ones and keep them close!
