Feelin' Crafty

Lou from LouCee Creations has an adorable new kit out called "Feelin' Crafty". It is filled with amazing elements for all those
layouts filled with creative projects or just those little artists! Or if you are as talented as Lou is, all those hybrid projects! You can find it at Digital Scrap Obsession.

Hooe you all have those PayPal accounts loaded up for this weekend - National Scrapbook Day! Sales are popping up all over the scrapping world. Be sure to check out the one at Scrap That Idea. 50% off....woohoo!

Digiridoo Scraps is still off-line and I am missing my girls!!!! Hopefully things will be up and running soon-----however, my fellow CT member, Sharon, whom I am designated as my creative muse, has hooked me up over at Deviant Scrap. OMG - another obsession to add to my list! What an amazing place - the ladies over there are so talented it makes my eyes hurt! This style of scrapping is so out of my comfort zone but I am absolutely loving it, plus I don't have to journal and no one minds, in fact it is encouraged! I spent so much time at Deviant Scrap on Tuesday that I have fallen behind on all my creative team obligations (sshhhh...don't tell my designers!) Here are my efforts.

I received a GSO for this one - the challenge was to design a postcard. It felt like I was back in the 70's when I was designing this - it was so much fun to just let loose and go with the challenge!

I am particularly proud of this one as I received a GSO at Digiridoo and also Deviant Scrap.

Really you all need to give the art journaling a try - you will be hooked!!!!

Off to do many, many layouts....

I love the ladies over there and the talent just exudes from every bit of the website. If you haven't ever checked out this great place please go and make yourself comfortable - you just might make it home!

My CT boss, Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise has also been accepted as a designer at Digiridoo Scraps. How cool is that!
She is having a great sale to celebrate. You can find her shoppe HERE.

We are at the fourth challenge of the ATC challenge on Sarah Barber Design's blog. Where does the time go?

The quotes for this challenge are
A good goal is like a strenuous exercise - it makes you stretch.
-Mary Kay Ash

Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.
-Hannah More

Be sure to link up your ATC in Sarah's GALLERY at Digiridoo Scraps and leave a comment on the blog for your $2.00 coupon to use in Sarah's store.

Renata from Serene by RW has an absolutely stunning new kit out called Suddenly Spring. I love the style of this kit and the colors - WOW. You can find it over at Inspiration Lane It is just a yummy kit! Here is a preview and my layout (I have borrowed children again...thanks guys!)

Mel from Mel Hains Design is off studying for exams but she has a great sale going on over at Scrap That Idea.

Here are a couple of layouts I have done for the ladies over at Digiridoo Scraps. Valentina, my fellow CT member and a fabulous designer has Fish and Bubbles out in the shoppe. My word it is an amazing kit to work with - so many wonderful elements and colors in this kit.

MC Designs also has a new out called Lissy. I love this kit because it is so unique and was so great to work with. The colors are gorgeous! The layout is dedicated to my little granddaughter who is indeed her own little person. She has such an imagination and a sense of wonder about everything. What a sweet little spirit she is!

I have so much to do today that I am off to get started early so I have some time for the scrapbook world! Have a great week.

i am going to try and make this short and sweet as I have to get to work - we will see!
First of all Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise has an absolutely stunning kit out called "Nature Walk" which you can find at DigiScraps Drive-In. Beautiful kit for those spring and nature layouts! All my favorite colors in this kit.

Lights, camera, action is the new kit by Mel Hains Design at Scrap That Idea. Filled with all the elements for a night out on the town or those special performances.

Perfect for all your little stars!

Just a couple of layouts I worked on for gals over at Digiridoo Scraps. The first one is Because by Berry Sweet Designs. What a gorgeous kit - the rich colors and textures are amazing!

The kit is one by Stacy's Back Door Designs called Country Warmth. Another amazing kit - I love the old postcards in this kit and the vintage feel of the kit. The photo in this layout is my Mom and a friend when they were visiting San Francisco - I have always loved this photo - my Mom looks so young and carefree!

Let's Go Shopping

Two new kits and a new CU product to preview today. My Fairy Tale by LouCee Creations is an adorable kit filled with a dragon, prince and princess and even a beautiful carriage. This amazing kit is perfect for those fantasy layouts for both boys and girls. You can find it at DigiScrap Obsessions.

If you head over to Lou's Blog, she has a free add-on for you that goes wonderfully with the My Fairy Tale.

I had the opportunity to spend some time with my almost 6-year old granddaughter the other day, who just happens to have an interest in digital scrapbooking (gee, I wonder where she got that from). She really wanted to do a layout with dragons and princesses. What kit was perfect other than My Fairy Tale. DGD was very specific about her wanting to do this layout all by herself, no help with spelling and learned very quickly how to duplicate images, save a file and open files - not to mention she is great at using the mouse! She loved this kit and wanted to use every element because "they are all so pretty. I have to have them all". Here is her layout. I am very proud of you Moo!

Here are mine.

Lou also has a new CU product in the store, Bronzy Bits. I love these little bronze goodies and they are 35% off for one week. You can get it at DigiScrap Obsessions.

Sarah Barber Design has a stunning new kit called The Nature of Matrimony. Sarah made this kit in honor of her sister's upcoming marriage. The colors and elements in this kit reminded Sarah of her sister and her wedding plans. What an amazing thing to do for your sister! I love the patterned papers in this kit, especially the ones with the flower and paisley designs - they are just lovely!

The Nature of Matrimony is on sale at Digiridoo Scraps.

Here are my layouts done with this marvelous kit.

Leave a comment on Sarah's BlOG for a chance to win The Nature of Matrimony.

Bye for now!

TGIF

Hooray its Friday and I have the day off...sometimes you just need those days when you can wake up and not really have anything to do except just what you want to. Of course those days turn into scrapbooking days for me. Great days to get caught up on CT stuff and also to do some layouts just for fun!

I am a bit late, but last weekend I received a gallery standout over at Digital Scrap Obsession using LouCee Creations portion of My Montage. Lou did a beautiful job on this kit - the textures in the papers are exquisite and the elements are out of this world!

As you all hopefully know Sarah Barber will be writing a monthly article for The Artisan Notebook about art journaling and everything vintage. And now there is a new monthly challenge for all you artists out there!

This challenge is being hosted at Digiridoo Scraps in the Corroborree Centre. It follows Sarah's monthly art journal articles written for The Artisan Notebook and just for participating, you get a free $2 coupon to her amazing shop!

Just to make this challenge a little bit more interesting - Sarah has a new kit coming out that is just phenomenal - save that $2 coupon, it will be well worth it!

Just a little layout of my gorgeous granddaughters on Easter. I know I have said it before, but I have an amazing family and am so blessed! I can't say it enough and I hope they all know how much I love them!

New blogwear by Palvinka from the Green Day kit. Very pretty!!!

I will be back this weekend with some new kits! I may even shower today if I can tear myself away from my computer long enough.

Happy Easter!

I took some time yesterday morning and just did a layout for fun. I had forgotten what it was like to just scrap for the heck of it and what a surprise, I received GSO at both Digishop Talk and Shabby Pickle. Very nice way to start the morning!

Some very exciting news for Sarah!! She is now going to be writing a monthly column in The Artisan Notebook. Sarah's column will be all about art journalling and all things vintage, so make sure you head on over to The Artisan Notebook site and grab yourself a copy. What an amazing opportunity for Sarah! Here is the ATC I did using Sarah's For The Birds kit.

Some days I feel like this is my life - "I'm late, I'm late for a very important date". It seems that no matter how fast I go the farther behind I get. Well Mel from Mel Hains Design has produced the most amazing Alice kit for all those "Alice moments".

Along with the kit there is a mini and some fabulous wordart.

The Alice kit was such a fun kit to work with - it would make some terrific ATCs besides layouts. Here is mine.

Mel has also begun her April freebie on her blog. The new kit is called Chicolate and has gorgeous shades of pink and green with a touch of brown. Go pick-up your first week freebie HERE.

Ooohhh...Sarah from MyFourHensPhotography has a new freebie action on her blog called Little Honey Bee. I love Sarah's PSE actions and have about everyone of them - PSE actions are just too addicting to pass up! These are beautiful and I can't wait to use them on Easter photos!

Off to get ready for the Easter bunny!
