She's Back

I knew Lou from LouCee Creations couldn't stay away for long.  She is back designing and back at Digiridoo Scraps!  Lou has loaded up her store and some great savings for you!

Lou also has a new kit out called The Great British Street Party which works perfectly with all the big celebrations yesterday for the Royal Wedding.

Doodle Designs also has a great kit called Spring, Easter, Bloom, Etc. in her shoppe.  Gorgeous yellows, greens and oranges make this a perfect spring kit!  And her doodles - just adorable!

The Happy Feeling Bundle by MC Designs is also available over at Digiridoo Scraps.  A great bundle of papers, elements, alphas and even templates.

If you haven't been over to Digiridoo Scraps lately, you need to check out their new design - It is amazing thanks to all the hard work of the ladies over there!

Unbelievably we woke up to snow this morning - guess I will snuggle in for a bit and finish up some last minute end of the month projects.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Easter!

Edeline Marta has a new kit over at Two Peas in a Bucket called Lil' Moa's Diary.  This kit has the feel of an art journal with the adorable acrylic elements and the brush word art.  It was my granddaughter's first soccer game - she did a great job.  I am very proud of her!

Jeannette hosted a progressive scrap over at Digiridoo this week.  We were given pieces of the April collab called Time for Tea for five days and at the end had some really fabulous layouts!  It was great fun.

The prompt last week for the Art Journal Caravan was "Try".  Here is what I came up with.
I used Lori Davison's The Artists' Faeries for this layout.  This is an amazing kit.  Go have a look over at Scrapbook Graphics.

Hope you all have a Happy Easter!

Art Journal Caravan

To say that I love art journaling is an understatement.  Since I have been on this journey with Tangie Baxter over at Scrapbook Graphics I have learned so much - not only about art journaling but about myself.  To be able to journal and/or create a page just for myself has been the most incredible discovery.  Some pages and journaling I share, some I don't - it is entirely up to me and that is so empowering!

This page I created for a dear friend who is struggling right now.  My hope for her is that all the pieces of her life will come together and she will find some peace in her heart.  I received a place in Gallery
Standouts for this and also a GSO at Digiridoo.   The kit is from Finecrafted called Inner Voices.  This is
just an exquisite kit!

I am still working on my alphabet adjectives from the February challenge at AJC.  Here is my piece for "o".  I used Rebecca McMeen's Telesbee kit.  I love Rebecca's art dolls - they just exude personality!
Another piece using Finecrafted's Inner Voices - This is entitled April Showers Bring May Flowers.
Really this one was just because I wanted to play with this kit - it is truly amazing!
Truman Studio at Digiridoo has an adorable easter kit out called Easter Pals.  The kit is filled with the cutest Easter elements!

I took a huge step on Friday and purchased my first real DSLR camera, a Canon T2i.  I am in awe of it and have spent a good part of this weekend just staring at it.  LOL!  I am so excited to learn everything I can about photography with this camera - oh the adventures I am going to have.

Edeline has a new kit out on Tuesday...see you then.

New Kit Wednesday

Lou from Lou Cee's Creations has an gorgeous spring kit in her shop.  It is called Springville and is filled with beautiful papers and the most adorable elements.  You can find it in Lou's store.

Edeline Marta also has two new kits out at Two Peas In A Bucket.  The first is called Delightful and it certainly is delightful with oranges, browns and pinks.

Edeline was one busy lady - she also has Flourish out this week.  Beautiful soft yellows, greens and blues with just a hint of coral.
It was a very good digital Tuesday for me - I received a GSO for my layout I did with Sarah Barber's Spring Cameo kit at DST.

and the most awesome news of all is that my art journal layout was chosen as Page of the Week at Scrapbook Graphics - I was so excited and felt so honored to be chosen.
Thanks for looking!

Sunday Bliss

I love days when all my work is done and I can totally concentrate on digital pieces!  Our prompt on the AJC this week was "color".  Here is what I came up with.  I think everyone (including myself!) could stand to add a little color to their life - makes it so much more interesting.

The Transformation Deck prompt at Deviant Scraps this month was "Everyday Bliss".   I live for my bubble baths at the end of a crazy day or even just in the middle of the day when I want to escape.

Off to soak...

Starting Fresh

Blogging has certainly taken a backseat for the past few months.  I am not going to try to catch up as that would be impossible so I am starting fresh.

Sadly a few of the designers I was creating for have stepped down from designing but happily I was asked by Edeline Marta to join her creative team.  I am very excited to be part of her team.  You can check out her shop over at Two Peas In a Bucket.  New kits will be coming soon.

I have been totally immersed in the Art Journal Caravan over at Scrapbook Graphics with Tangie Baxter and all the wonderful ladies on this journey.  I am having so much fun with art journaling - always something new to learn and create.  There are too many layouts to post so here is the link to my gallery.

Sarah Barber Design has a lovely new spring kit out called Spring Cameo.  You can find it at Digiridoo Scraps.

I used Sarah's kit for my art journal entry to explore poetry.  I love Emily Dickinson's works and this piece fit so nicely with the Spring Cameo kit.

All of April challenges are up at Digiridoo.  This is a great way to stretch your artistic abilities and to get a great participation gift!

Have a great week.
