Changes

A lot of changes are in the horizon for myself and my family. I am hoping to get things a bit more organized and on track and put some perspective on life. Good goal - one which I hope I can achieve!

Where to start....

Charlie's Digiscraps has some amazing new CU products out in her Digiridoo Shoppe. I love these stitches and the little dolls are just so adorable. The details on the dolls is just perfection!

Head over to Denise's blog (DigiDesigns by Denise) to win her new kit which is due out any day now! Pick a name for the chance to win! Here is a sneak peek.

Mel from Mel Hains Designs' new kit Mermaids is in the shoppe at Scrap That idea. An adorable kit with the cutest elements. On sale this week!

Sarah Barber Design is having the sale of the century. If you love Sarah's gorgeous kits this is the time to take advantage of a great sale!

Sarah also has a new kit out called Cherri - old school tattoos mixed with the flirty. Stunning kit. I haven't completed a layout yet but have a half a dozen ideas running about my brain - so I will be back!

Renata from Serene by RW also has a new kit out (also I have no layout - time has just gotten away from me this week!). You can find it at Inspiration Lane. It is called Good Times. Beautiful colors in this one!

And the good news...I will working with the gals at Artisan Notebook on their Recipe for Design Team. So excited about this - another great challenge!

Lots to accomplish today - have a great week!

Charlie from Charlie's Digiscraps has some new seamless corrugated card styles out in her Digiridoo shoppe. These lovelies can be used both for commercial and personal projects.

Mel Hains Designs' new kit A Simple Life is out at Scrap That Idea. Love the little doodle figures in this kit and the bright colors are gorgeous! Oohh that little car is adorable!

Just a little extra pimp for my friend Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise - I used her Slighty Askew template for the layout using the A Simple Lfe Kit.

Now for just some fun layouts from this weekend

Have a great week!

Grab a Cup of Coffee

Another Sunday and lots of exciting things have happened.

Lou from LouCee's Creations has joined the design team at Digiridoo Scraps. Hooray for Lou! Plus that makes me very happy to have her over at Digiridoo. Welcome Lou - I know you will love it. Lou has a new kit out called Choocie Face. Just an adorable kit perfect for all those precious baby memories.

To celebrate her new store Lou is also having a 50% off opening sale on all her kits at Digiridoo. An amazing chance to pick up Lou's gorgeous kits!

I have been playing with a couple of kits from other Digiridoo Designers. The first is Studio4 Designworks. A kit called Stroll in the Park. Such an earthly kit filled with browns and greens and an adorable little owl.

Feli Designs also has a gorgeous turquoise and blue filled kit called Blue Like That. She also has some wonderful wordart as a freebie.

Denise from DigiDesigns from Denise has another fabulous template series called Slightly Askew. I LOVE, LOVE templates - they are so great to help when your creativity is lacking or if you just need to do a quick page. Check these out at Denise's store at Digiridoo Scraps.

Sarah Barber Design also has a new kit out called Hey Doll! Clean, modern and a bit sexy. Lovely flocked papers and fabulous elements to play with. I just love those pin-up girls.

Spent part of the day yesterday doing a little mini photo shoot with my youngest granddaughter - I am so glad her mom indulges me in my little moments of photography. We had so much fun and were joined by her aunties who entertained little Jolin and made her laugh and smile. Just a preview of some of the shots - layouts coming soon!

A Lovely Day

I spent part of yesterday with a friend away from the city just playing with cameras and taking lots of pictures. Lots of them not very good but some of them not too bad. I needed some time away from life and this worked perfectly. Thank you my friend - you have replenished my spirit!

Onward to scrapping things. Scrap that Idea have their August collaboration out called Fairytale Summer. Gorgeous summery colors and beautiful elements just perfect for those summer days and nights!

Mel Hains Designs also has an adorable kit out called Silly Old Bear. It was amazing how many of Mel's creative team still had their tattered and much loved bears from their childhood. All the layouts were so fun to see! And Mel's little bear elements - so cute!

Charlie from Charlie's Digiscraps has another fabulous storyboard collection out - Storyboard Collection 3. You can find it and also Garden Bits 3 at Digiridoo.

Deviant Scrap has a challenge going on called Transformation Cards. A prompt is given each month which you must use in some way on the card but other than that you are free to just create. After such an amazing day I was ready to dive right in and the results are below.

This one was just for fun. I have been wanting this kit by Tangie Baxter and her mom, Rebecca McMeen called Briseis for months and finally just went for it. I love the oranges - something I never thought I would say as I used to say orange would be my least favorite color to scrap but I have learned to absolutely love using orange in layouts!

My friend who just recently moved away is flying in today to tie up some loose strings but hopefully we will get to spend some quality time scraping and catching up this afternoon - Weekends like this don't come along too often!

I am leaving you with a quote my friend Sharon recently used on a gorgeous piece. So fitting right now in my life!

A Quickie Post

As promised I am back to give you a peek at Lou from LouCee's Creations new kit called Picnic Promenade available to DigiScrap Obsession as part of the Pick Ur Bits. Gorgeous kit with beautiful summery colors. Lou also has a gorgeous alpha that fits perfectly with this kit.

If you have a moment, go over to Lou's blog and read about her puppy's birthday party. All those puppies together are so cute!

And a little altered LO using Lou's kit

August challenges are up over at Digiridoo - I love Caryn's template challenges and couldn't resist this one using Band Geek Designs Citron and Saffron kit. Don't you just love those little lemon and lime slices!

A little deviant scrapping with more to come as I won a gift certificate at Deviant Scrap and I have been shopping. Thanks so much Marsha/TumbleFish Studio.

Have a great week!
