It's Official

I've got the flu - spent the whole day sleeping yesterday, didn't want to eat for fear it would cause other problems, tried to go to work but they sent me home - guess I wasn't looking so chipper. So before I go back to bed thought I would get this post off.

Charlie is still celebrating her digiscraping birthday with some great savings over at ESS. The celebration lasts until June 30 so don't miss out.

Also Charlie has a great $1 Fairy Find, a gorgeous CU product.

Charlie and Vickie from A Work in Progress have teamed up to bring you a fabulous collab freebie called Bright Lights of Summer. What a fun kit - love the oranges! Go to their respective blogs to pick up this great kit.

Over at Scrap That Idea - Mel has a new kit called I Had a Farm In Africa. Stunning kit - lucky for me my son's girlfriend's sister has just returned from her second trip to Africa helping in the orphanages and building homes so I had some great pictures. Mel's kit is on sale for $3. It is just beautiful!

Here is the layout I finally completed for Mel's Scrap Happy kit. So cute!

That's it for now.

So Far Behind...

I have so much catching up to do. My goal was to get on top of things in June and get back into my usual organized life, but that hasn't happened. Maybe I need a class in time management or maybe just more time in the day but I just can't seem to get ahead lately. The one thing that I love and that I do for myself is my digiscraping and I have barely had a moment to sit down and really concentrate on it. I have some big projects in the works and I just can't seem to get to them and I hate it. Maybe July will be better...all I really want is to get up in the morning, have a cup of coffee and scrap for a bit without having to rush to get other things done, really is that too much to ask?????

Anyway, Charlie has some fabulous things going on. She has taken the big step in the scraping world and now has her own website/blog. Very exciting! There is even a gallery to post all your wonderful layouts using Charlie's kit. Please go check it out.

Charlie has produced a darling acrylic tab album template that is 30% off until June 30 and I tell you it is worth a look. This is one of my projects that I haven't finished (I wanted to do a album of my granddaughters birthday party) - oh I hate having unfinished ideas floating around in my head, it makes my crazy. You can pick it up over at ESS.

I don't know how she does it but Charlie has taken on another job.

I can tell you from experience that Charlie's extractions are fabulous - she is such a perfectionist when it comes to detail!
Here is an example from her blog (which by the way you can pick up free).

Mel has also some big things going on in her world. She is celebrating the first year of her blog and she is doing it in style.
She has an amazing freebie on her blog which you can pick up the papers today. Check this out. It is called Scrap Happy and will only be available for three days.

Being the frustrated creative member that I am - I haven't got a layout done for this kit yet, hopefully I will be back this weekend with something. Sorry Mel!!!!!

Mel also has some great savings going on over at Scrap That Idea!

And a great chance to win a $6 GC to her store.

Mel also has two new kits out. Love Is in the Air and Perfect Harmony. Both available at Scrap That Idea.

Here is my take on Love Is In the Air and yes, that is the Eiffel Tower in the background, but unfortunately not me in the picture. It is a friend and her husband - lucky, lucky girl - she is just back from Paris and Switzerland!

and Perfect Harmony.

Well, I think that is it...Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Mel's absolutely gorgeous kit Decadence is also on sale - love this kit. What a great job on Mel's part to do a grungy kit!

Vicki and Mel have teamed up again to give us a fabulous kit called Out and About. It is a freebie and you can pick up their respective parts on their blogs.

Charlie also has an amazing CU product out. This is just stunning and the colors - WOW! You can get it for 30% off the regular price at ESS.

I hope that is it...see y'all soon - hopefully my creativity be on board soon - I think it is on vacation!

Celebrate!

Celebrate with Charlie's Designs and her first year of designing with her exquisite new kit called Celebrate. This kit is full of beautiful papers and elements perfect for any celebration and you can pick it up exclusively at Enchanted Studio Scraps.

I met Charlie about a year and a half ago over at Snap and Scrap where we were both members of the creative team. Charlie has always been so wonderful to help me with any questions I had and has always given me such great encouragement in my scraping. When she began designing I was so excited and I am thrilled to have been a part of her journey as a member of her creative team! Mwaahaa Charlie!!!!!!

The best part of this celebration is that Charlie's fabulous creative team is celebrating with a blog train with some gorgeous quick pages for you! Climb abroad!!!!
