Easter Treats

Spring Brings Hope

This morning I had an e-mail from Denise at DigiDesigns by Denise regarding a charity collab she contributed to and was also very pleasantly surprised to see that Erika from Inkin' Creations was the organizator for this amazing kit. Here is Erika's note:

"For the past month or so, I have been organizing a charity kit that my dear creative team member Renee initiated. Her son attends preschool and her son's teacher's daughter (Jenna) was diagnosed with Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder.

Here is Jenna's story: Jenna received a liver transplant in 1997 when she was just 7 years old. The transplant was a success and her health had been good. She graduated from Apollo High School in the spring of 2009 and just finished her first successful semester of college at Bemidji State University, in Minnesota. When she came home for Christmas break this December, she showed her parents 2 huge lumps on her body. Jenna was quickly admitted to the University of Minnesota Medical Center where their greatest fear became a reality and Jenna was diagnosed with Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder, a form of cancer caused by the anti-rejection medications she received following her transplant. She is currently undergoing rigorous chemotherapy treatments. The increase in doctors appointments and primary goal of keeping Jenna healthy has prevented her from going back to Bemidji for spring semester. She is currently working at Cashwise Pharmacy when she feels up to it and is taking an online class through BSU."

100% of proceeds from this kit will be given to Jenna to cover her medical expenses.
Nine designers have joined together to bring you this fun spring kit. These designers have donated 68 papers, 93elements, 1full alphabet, and 2 12x12 quick pages.

I am sorry to say that Erika from Inkin' Creations has decided to retire from designing to spend more time with her family. I have had the pleasure of working with Erika on her creative time and I can say she is one talented lady - but family always comes first! It was amazing to work with you Erika and hopefully some time in the future we might be able to work with each other again!

This is my favorite - this stunning crocheted bird remains me of my grandma. It is just so lovely and it was made by Charlie's great grandma. Wow, what a precious memory!


I am in absolute heaven - Pioneer Woman has made a PSE set of her actions. OMG this is an absolute dream. I have been going back and forth from my laptop which has PS on it to use these actions and now they are all right here in PSE on my Mac. I am off to play with these fabulous actions! Life is good!
