You can climb into Santa's bag and pick it up here.

Mel has a new kit out called Yum Yum Bubble Gum - stunning pastels in this kit. It is in the store now at Scrap That Idea.

The photo is a shot of my daughter when she was just a little over 1 and myself - I have always loved this photo and now it has a home in this layout. Thanks Mel for the gorgeous kit!

I attended a little lecture about scrapbooking last night and was really inspired by the presentation. It really put into perspective for me how important scrapbooking is. Being a single Mom for a long time and having a bit of a struggle at times has always made me think that maybe I wasn't the best of mothers because I had to work so hard to keep our life going. But when I first started scraping, looking through old pictures and at all the fun times we had as a family, I know now that even though times were tough, we had a lot of fun as a family, laughed a lot, cried a lot but we are a family and through the years and in the years to come, we will have those memories documented. That is what is important because in the end, those memories, pictures and our journaling will be what we have left of each other.

Now, I just have to work on my journaling and not just creating a pretty page...
