GSO and New Products

My friend and designer, Denise, from DigiDesigns by Denise has a new kit out called At The Seashore over at Digiridoo and also at DigiScraps Drive-in. I am absolutely in love with this kit and have decided it is my favorite of Denise's work so far. The colors in this kit are so pretty and very beachy! And the elements - WOW.

Here are my layouts using this gorgeous kit! I received a GSO at DST for the layout of my eldest granddaughter.

Sarah Barber Design also has a new kit called That's Swell. What a fun kit this was to play with. I love the colors and the elements are so vintage! You can find it at Digiridoo. Also visit Sarah's blog
for a chance to win this fabulous kit. Just leave a Sarah a comment and keep your fingers crossed!

I was visiting a forum the other day where someone asked the question as to what are the advantages of being on a creative team. I found this interesting and really thought about it for a moment - aside from the obvious of getting to play with all the wonderful kits from your designers, there are so many advantages that perhaps many don't think about. When I first started digital scrapbooking about 3 or so years ago and I applied for my first creative team, I was sure I would never be chosen. But I was so lucky and Mel from Mel Hains Design chose me. Mel has kept me on her team since then. Next it was being on the creative team for Snap & Scrap which of course lead me to be on the creative team for Charlie at Charlie's Digiscraps. It was here that I formed so many friendships including those of Lou from LouCee's Creations and Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise.
Then Erika from Inkin' Creations with her beautiful designs and Renata from Serene by RW. I then applied for Sarah Barber Design's Creative Team - thinking there would be no way I would ever be asked to join this team as her style was so different from anything I had ever tried but how happy was I when I was asked to join this amazing group and fabulous designer. I feel like my scraping has come full circle as I am now on Digiridoo's Creative Team with so many of those amazing women from Snap & Scrap. Truly the relationships that are formed from being on a creative team are to be cherished. All the designers that I create for and creative team members are so supportive of everything I try, even if it is a bit out of the box. They always have an encouraging word not only in the scrapbooking realm but personally. Just a THANK YOU to all of you. Here's to more designing and more creating! I cherish my friendship with each and every one of you!
