Just when I think I am caught up I fall behind again. Lots of new things.
Lou from LouCee Creations has a beautiful summery kit out, Camomile Lawn. Such gorgeous colors and the elements are amazing! I used Lou's kit to make the first page of what I think will be my art journal. The elements were just a perfect fit with the quote. You can find Lou's kit over at DSO. It is 25% off for one week.
Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise has a fabulous template set coming out at DigiScraps Drive-In called Take a Peek. These are such fun templates and I love the cut-outs for photos - very unique!

Art Creations Friday
Participated in a little challenge on Art Creations Friday website. A friend brought me a book called "The Venetian Mask" by Rosalind Laker, which I started last night. This morning I was so interested in the history behind the masks of Venice that I did a little skinny card for this challenge using the lovely little lady provided for the challenge. The skinny is called "The Guardian of My Heart". Thanks to JoesSistah at Flickr for the room background and the masked man. Shadowhouse Creations for the texture background. Holliewood Studios for the playing card and broken heart from the Love and War kit.
Denise from DigiDesigns by Denise has an absolutely lovely new kit out called Celebrate which you can find over at DigiScraps Drive-In. I loved working with a black background and the gorgeous elements!
I entered another little challenge over at Mind Wide Open a couple of weeks ago and much to my surprise I took third place. Check out Gail's wonderful blog and also Shabby Cottage Studio for some beautiful vintage items!
A little embarrassed to show you the skinny that took third place because after I sent it to Gail I noticed a spelling error on it - oops. Oh well, here it is. Guess I will use Spell Check next time!!!
Digiridoo is still off-line but let me tell you the girls are putting out kits like crazy and you will be amazed! Hopefully we will be up and running soon!

Catching Up
I have finally had a little moment of time to get caught up on some layouts for my fabulous designers.
First up is Lou at LouCee Creations. She has two new kits out. Farmer's Market is a wonderful country feeling kit with amazing colors and elements. Love the wooden duck! You can find this adorable kit over at DSO.
Lou's next kit is called Amethyst Charm and all I can say is WOW. This is a glorious kit - just perfect for those vintage or heritage pages! It is also available at DSO.
Denise at DigiDesigns by Denise has a beautiful kit out called Butterfly Solitude. This kit is filled with yellows and reds, perfect for those spring layouts. The butterfly elements are just fabulous! You can find it at DigiScrap Drive-In on sale for a limited time.
Denise also has a new template series out called Minimalist. Love the clean and simple look of these templates. You can find the templates at DigiScrap Drive-In.
I used Denise's template on this layout and also Mel Hains Designs Exhale Kit. Mel's new kit Exhale is just adorable. I love the darling little girl element in this kit and the colors are just stunning. Exhale is available over at Scrap That Idea.
